i. Basic Chromium Sulphate
a)There are two types of Basic Chromium Sulphate available - which are as follows:
a) Uniphos I
b) Uniphos II
The details of the above products are given below:
Uniphos I:
It is a Basic Chromium Sulphate complex reduced with molasses. It is spray dried
powder, free flowing, leaf green in colour, readily soluble even in cold water.
It is used for chrome tanning of all types of hides/skins. Also used in dyeing of
mineral khaki cloth.
Specification of the product is as follows:
Chromium Oxide as Cr2O3 (%)........24.00
Schorlemmer Basicity (%)........33.00
Neutrals Salts as Na2SO4 (%)........33.00
pH of aqueous solution (%)..........3.00
Packing will be in 25 kg Kraft Paper bags with polythene liner.
Uniphos II:
It is a Basic Chromium Sulphate complex reduced with molasses. It is spray dried
powder, free flowing, leaf green in colour, readily solouble even in cold water.
It is used for chrome tanning of all types of hides/skins.
Specification of the product is as follows:
Chromium Oxide as Cr2O3 (%)........24.00
Schorlemmer Basicity (%)........41.00
Neutrals Salts as Na2SO4 (%)........36.00
pH of aqueous solution (%)..........3.20
Packing will be in 25 KG KRAFT PAPER bags with polythene liner.
b) Packing will be in 50 Kg HDPE bags with liner. Quantity per FCL 22 MT per FCL
c) Application: Tanning of leather
ii. Calcium hypochlorite
a) Specification of the product will be as follows:
Available Chlorine : 65 %
Ca(OH)2 : 2 % Maximum
CaCO3 : 6 % Maximum
CaCl : 2 % Maximum
NaCl : 17 % Maximum
Moisture & Others : 8 % Maximum
b) Packing will be in 45 Kg HDPE carbouys. 400 carbouys per 20' FCL
c) Algicide, bactericide, deodorant, disinfectant, fungicide, in sugar refining,
oxidizing agent, bleaching agent
iii.Caustic Soda - Flakes
a) The specification of the product is as follows:
NaOH % by weight min : 99.5
Na2Co3 % by weight max : 0.4
NaCl% by weight max : 0.1
Na2SO4 % by weight max : 0.1
SiO2% by wt. max : 0.02
Iron (as Fe) ppm max : 20
Manganese (as Mn) ppm max : 1.0
Copper (as Cu) ppm max : 2.0
b) Packing will be in 50 kg HDPE bags with HDPE liner.
Quantity per FCL will be 21 MT - 420 bags per FCL

a) Specification of the product is as follows:
NaOH content : 99.50% on dry basis min.
Iron as Fe : 3 ppm max
Sodium Carbonate : 0.4% max.
Chloride as NaCl : 0.1% max.
Bulk Density : 1.136 gm/cc
Granulation : Average 700 +/- 100
Microns Range : 250 - 1300 Microns
b) Packing will be in 25 kg HDPE bags with polythene liner.
In one FCL, we can despatch 21 MT (840 bags per FCL).
c) It is used in acid neutralizing, making sodium salts, dues and pharmaceutical
industries.
d) Applications:
Universally applicable
Due to the superior characteristics of prills, flakes are often substituted by
prills.
